Must-have item: Boyfriend Military Jacket!

It started several seasons ago with the boyfriend jean and it seems like the "borrowed from the boys" look is eveywhere now. I'm naturally drawn to feminine fabrics, designs and colors so I like to throw in a boyfriend something to toughen the look up. Otherwise, I'll add some chunky jewelry or edgier shoes to make the look more current.

Recently, I fell in love with the J.Crew Boyfriend Fatigue Jacket (shown above) after seeing it online. To my dismay, it was sold out everywhere and they weren't going to restock it (Yes, I emailed J.Crew). I started the hunt for a similar jacket and finally, after much searching, I found....

It was pretty much everything I was looking for, the fit was good and the price was right! I had to pre-order it since it was also sold out and thankfully, it arrived 2 days before I left for my trip to SF!

Here we are in SF. I'm keeping warm + toughening up my girly skirt with my multi-tasking jacket. :)

Can't wait till Fall so I can bust it out again!

Mommy & Me Look of the Day

I apologize for the lack of posts. Now that I'm approaching summer vacation, I'm hoping to update more frequently. Please stay tuned!

Some of my favorite fashion blogs are of just regular girls (w fantastic taste, of course!) posting up pictures of their daily outfits. Some have professional looking photographs taken and others just do quick shots with their iPhones. Whatever the case, I love seeing real outfits on real women and finding out exactly where they found that sequin mini or that bright orange enamel bracelet.

I was searching high and low for a cute, affordable faux fur vest a la Rachel Zoe when I finally found THE one at American Eagle. The stores around me didn't have my size and they were all sold out online, which of course only made me want it that much more. I went to great lengths to get it but thanks to some great friends, I finally have it and love it! It is currently sold out online but keep checking the website. It sold out once before and they restocked it around Thanksgiving before it sold out again.
