Happy Easter Egg!

On Mommy: Tucker Dress, Cynthia Vincent for Target sandals, Louis Vuitton handbag, J.Crew & Hermes bracelets, Cartier watch
On A: Crewcuts top, Target leggings, Old Navy boots

I splurged on this Tucker (not for Target) dress for A's first birthday party (see pics here) last year. I love how versatile it is. Now that I'm preggers, I can just tie the ribbon above my bump. In terms of maternity wear, I'm all for wearing fitted cuts and a lot of belts above and below the bump. It really helps accentuate your figure and show off your belly. I'm one of those that think that pregnant women and their growing bellies are just so beautiful!

With all the easter egg hunting and decorating we were doing, A started saying "Happy Easter Egg!" to anyone who would listen. We tried to have her drop the "egg" from her greeting but to no avail.

So hubbie and I are heading off to SF tomorrow w/o lil A. We're just going for a wedding so grandma generously offered to watch A for us. While we'll miss her like crazy, it'll be a nice vacation to get to sleep in and not have to chase after a toddler. Getting excited!

Oh and the royal wedding is finally here! Tomorrow, as Will & Kate tie the knot, hubbie and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary. Yay for 4/29 weddings!

An Interview and Some Upcoming Trips

I had been a regular visitor at KOKO Living (an online community for Korean-American women) for awhile now so I was thrilled when they wanted to interview me for their magazine. Click on the image above for the article. I'll also be guest blogging on the website going forward. Please visit me there too!

In other news, I have several trips coming up in the next couple of months. We're leaving A behind at grandma's while we head to SF for a wedding at the end of the month. Then, in May, we'll be vacationing in Maui with my family (flying in from Manila and Singapore) and then relaxing at my parent's place in LA afterward. Can I just say how much it sucks that we have to pay full price for A's plane ticket now that she's 2?

It will be my first time in Maui and while I've been to SF and LA several times, I'm always on the lookout for good insider tips. If you know of any great restaurants, fun kid things to do, shopping tips, touristy sights for Maui, SF or LA, please share them with me!!

Some News...

Forever21 dress, Aritzia cardigan, Cole Haan belt, Madewell sandals, Louis Vuitton bag, Hermes/J.Crew/Club Monaco bracelets, Cartier watch

I hope this last picture (doesn't excuse) but at least explains why I've been so MIA on this blog recently. We're expecting!!

We are over the moon excited but at the same time, I've been exhausted and constantly in a state of near starvation. Now that I'm in my 2nd trimester, I hope to be blogging a bit more frequently and sharing some maternity looks with you all.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Pleated Skirt

Old Navy top, Gap pleated skirt, Aldo Brendal boots, Cartier watch, Hermes and thrifted bracelet

I got this pleated skirt on clearance at Gap months and months ago and put off wearing it till now. I really dislike wearing skirts in the winter....too much hassle to deal with tights under the skirt. After becoming a mom, comfort has come to rank high on my priority list when getting dressed each morning.

In other news, I'm absolutely loving my new IPAD! Oprah was right...it has revolutionized my life! I'll be back soon with a post on some great apps for toddlers. If you have any great apps to recommend (kid related or not), please let me know!! This is my first apple product ever so I'm new to the world of apps.
