Green City Market

The Green City Market (outdoor version) is upon us once again.....yippee aye oh!

I love going to get the freshest, locally, organically grown foods. Last year, I picked up some purple asparagus (it actually looked a lot more exciting than it tasted), sweet strawberries, and some interesting cheeses on one visit.

Last year, I saw Dale from Top Chef at the market picking out some fresh ingredients!

The market also has a great selection of flowers! Here are some gorgeous peonies (my fave flower of all time!) It's definitely worth checking out if you are in the area...

Chicago People: Neiman Marcus Last Call

Neiman Marcus Last Call has arrived in Gurnee Mills! The grand opening is today but they had a pre-opening yesterday and I had the chance to check it out. The store was jam packed which made it a little hard to shop (especially with a huge stroller and baby in tow) but they definitely had some great deals! They had huge piles of shoes from D&G, MiuMiu, Modern Vintage, etc with an additional 30% off already reduced prices. If you're looking for a dress for wedding season, you are in luck. The whole store was FULL of dresses all at great discounts.
