Girls Getaway to New Buffalo, MI

A little while ago, two of my best girlfriends and I took an overnight getaway to New Buffalo, MI.  We met when we were all young, single and carefree.  Now, we're all attached, two have kids and one moved away to SF. This trip was just about the three of us, catching up and being together, without boyfriends or husbands or babies.

We all hadn't been on bikes in over 10 years but we went for it anyway and had a blast!

We tried to get massages but they were closed. :(

So, we just went back to our room and cracked open a Cab instead. :)

In other news, I just started potty training day 1 yesterday! I started after her nap at 2 pm and wasn't expecting much but she peed 4 times and had 0 accidents. Yay!! I'm nervous about what today will bring though. Any tips and suggestions on potty training?

My very own itty bitty fashionista!

 I posted about this adorable girl rocking Chanel a few weeks ago.

Before leaving this morning, I decided to take some shots of A, rocking her (er..my) Chanel.

 We sang "The Wheels on the Bus" to get her in the mood for the photo shoot. Here she is going "The horn on the bus goes beep beep beep"...her favorite part of the song!

Bake

I love this bakery called BAKE for many reasons.  

1. It's only a mile away from my house. :)

2. They have an amazingly moist red velvet cupcake!

3. Everything I've tried there is really, really good.

4. Best of all, they have tons of toys and kid size tables and chairs!! 

Audrey is occupied and I can actually sit and relax with a cup of joe and something yummy!

I wish there were more kid friendly restaurants/cafes in Chicago. If you know of any, please leave me a comment!
